The 5500 XTA has been given a limited edition overhaul with Tribal Real Tree, to give this reel a truly unique finish. Featuring an incredibly lightweight bio-mechanical handle, Baitrunner Spool System II, two-speed oscillation plus Aero Wrap for perfect line lay and smooth clutch operation provide optimal performance.
The addition of a new cold-forged AR-C spool and 4 shielded A-RB + 1 roller bearings further improve long-range casting performance. AR-C spool technology provides an angled front spool lip which reduces coil diameter on the cast, vastly reducing energy loss from larger coils of line passing through the guides. Less friction means more energy, providing longer casts with less effort. With over a metre of line retrieve per handle crank, it does not take long to retrieve your line - even with the extra distance this reel is capable of.
